42k, Comrades, Part 4 of 6

This is the first time i feel like i lost my motivation to run. Probably its the compound effect of running 42k ( 7th Feb, 4 hours 25 min), 56k (28th Feb, 6 hours 10 mins), 56k (21st March, 6 hours 16 min) every 3 weeks. It takes a lot to stay focused for todays run, April 11th, 2010. Danny and i wonder if we will be able to manage a 65k run on May 2nd. Will our body recover by 30th May 2010 to run 89k ? The key is to stay out of injury and know when to pull your body back. Also to try and eat correctly all the time.

Date : 11th April 2010, Lonavla Dam, 42k
3 am start :
I just don't feel i am in the running zone and not focused. Skipped Fridays training run and just swam. It seems we always run into a rave party happening half way up to Amby valley. All those looking to party here, go for it. We always have some fun company to run with us for about 400 mtrs before they get back to the party. If only we could stop and knock down 3 beers.

The weather has stayed good due to the early start. We are lucky since day temperatures climb to 37C plus.

Ran 42k in 4 hours 30 minutes and Danny was the much stronger runner today.

The Garmin does not give accurate elevation details. The exact same route i ran 7th Feb and the elevation was 800 mtrs up and 800 meters down. This seems more accurate.
